It All Started with a "Hello…"
He was the kind who always played it safe — calm, steady, logical to a fault.
She was warmth and wonder — full of stories, laughter, and a quiet kind of chaos that made life more colourful.
They came from different worlds and languages.
Different ideas of what “home” looked like. (And how spicy food should be).
But then, one hello turned into late-night conversations.
One meal turned into shared cravings.
One moment turned into something neither of them expected , something they now can’t imagine life without.
He still panics when conversations switch to Bahasa or Teochew.
She still rolls her eyes whenever he cranks the aircon down to 16°C, only to bury himself under two blankets.
But in between the , mispronunciations, and never-ending debate over Singapore vs. Indonesia food, they found something real.
And ready to celebrate this beautiful mess they now call “us.”
