Who would’ve thought that a simple introduction from a friend would lead us here?
It started casually. A friend of ours, with a lot of hope, said, “You two should know each other.” And so, we did. No expectations, no pressure.
Just light conversations at first— but over time, those little things began to feel like something we couldn’t wait for. Our chats grew longer, warmer… more personal.
We hadn’t met in person yet, but it felt like we already knew each other. Then we decided to meet—somewhere special. Yogyakarta, a city full of stories and memories. It became the perfect place for our first meeting.
From there, we took things slow. Became friends. Spent time to know each other, finding comfort in our talks, and letting everything grow on its own.
Then came the real challenge: distance. We had a long-distance relationship, living in different cities, different time zones. It wasn’t easy—some days felt full of longing, moments of silence, and countless video calls ending with, “I wish you were here.”
But through all that distance, we learned. We grew. About patience, trust, and choosing each other— even when we can’t meet in person.
And now, after everything we’ve been through—we know it’s time.
Time to start a new chapter.
Time to walk side by side.
Time to say yes, forever.
