FIRST MEETING, AUGUST 2019

It all began with an unexpected twist of fate. In August 2019 // we met as partners in a campus activity. Two strangers, unaware that the universe had already started weaving a connection between us. That day, we simply passed by each other, not realizing that a bond was slowly taking root, destined to grow stronger with time.

COMMITTED TOGETHER, MAY 2020

On May 10, 2020 // In that moment, we met face to face, our hearts silently speaking the language of trust and love. Faris didn’t need to say, “We are a couple,” he simply whispered, “Bismillah,” with the hope that one day it would lead us to “Alhamdulillah.” Five years have passed, and those words still guide us. With God’s grace, “Alhamdulillah” will soon be our truth.

PROPOSAL, MAY 2024

Our journey has not been a smooth one. Like a rollercoaster, it has been filled with soaring highs and deep valleys. There have been moments of doubt, times when we stumbled. But through every trial, we stood side by side, stronger and more determined. On May 18, 2024 // after years of growing together, Faris, with a heart full of love and courage, surrounded by our families, asked for Tyas’s hand in marriage. It was a tender, intimate moment, a reflection of the bond we’ve forged. A promise that our families would unite as one as we prepared to step into the future hand in hand.

ENGAGEMENT, DECEMBER 2024

On December 21, 2024 // in front of our loved ones, we declared our love, our commitment, and our promise to the world. The engagement wasn’t just a ceremony; it was the culmination of all our shared dreams, a promise of forever. The date held special meaning for us, marking the age when we chose to start this journey together, a turning point in our lives that we’ll never forget.

And now, as we look toward May 10, 2025 // we will celebrate five years of love, growth, and unwavering commitment. It feels as though time has flown, but each moment has been etched in our hearts. Bismillah, we ask for your prayers and blessings, knowing that with your love and support, our journey will be filled with grace, joy, and endless possibilities.
