We first crossed paths as schoolmates at SMA Yos Sudarso in Batam — a brief moment, almost classmates, yet strangers still. Life soon took us on different journeys; Anton moved to Singapore to pursue his studies, and we lost touch.
A quiet connection remained — a forgotten follow on Instagram, a name that felt familiar — until years later, Septina moved to Singapore in pursuit of a better future and career.
Then came the pandemic. Singapore’s lockdown in 2020 turned into an unexpected twist of fate — one that would bring us back together.
A simple post. A kind response. A helping hand from Batam to Singapore.
That small act of kindness turned into a long-overdue reunion.
And just like that, we met again.
This time, we truly saw each other. Friendship turned to love, and in 2021, our hearts found their way home.
Now, we begin forever.
