OUR STORY
We first met as schoolmates in Junior High School in 2012, simply sharing the silly classroom stories and ordinary days, never realizing that one day those small moments would mean so much. As the years went by in high school, we naturally grew very close, not just friends, but best friends who knew each other’s stories by heart. We were there through every phase of growing up, every worry, every dream, quietly becoming witnesses to each other’s journey and each other’s safe place without even trying.
After graduation, life took us to different cities, between Malang and Jember, and for the first time, distance became part of our story. But instead of drifting apart, we stayed close in a different way. Long phone calls became our routine, filled with sharing struggles, laughter, exhaustion, and encouragement as we navigated college life from afar. Then, when we both happened to be single, something slowly shifted. We found ourselves growing even closer than before, until one day a confession slipped out… followed by denial (and a little panic), but in the end, what we felt was real, and this time, it was taken seriously.
From that moment on, we chose to walk life together. Through college years, late nights finishing our theses, proud graduation days, and the long journey of becoming who we dreamed to be, from medical clerkship and pharmacy professional training, to taking our doctor and pharmacist oaths, to completing internships and stepping into the next chapters of life. Through every milestone, every challenge, and every new beginning, we stood side by side, growing, learning, and choosing each other again and again.
And now, after years of friendship that turned into love, distance that strengthened us, and a journey that shaped us. We have decided to begin our forever, hand in hand, heart to heart, for the rest of our lives.
