OUR STORY

Sometimes, God brings two people together in ways no one expects.

Vibra is from Palu and finished college in Jakarta in 2019. In 2020, she came to Sorowako for a short vacation, but because of the pandemic, she ended up staying much longer than planned.

At the same time, Putra — who is from Sorowako and had been living in Yogyakarta — also came back home in 2021.

They first met at POUK Sorowako Church during a youth worship rehearsal, where Putra played bass and Vibra served as a worship leader. From the very first meeting, Putra was curious about Vibra and slowly started getting closer to her through messages, social media, and many invitations that almost never happened.

Winning Vibra’s heart was definitely not easy, but after eight months of patience and persistence, Putra finally did — and on November 11th, 2021, they officially became a couple.

Not long after, they started their long-distance relationship journey. Through every season, with God at the center of their story, they kept choosing each other.

In June 2025, they decided to take the next step together, got engaged on December 18th, 2025, and by God’s grace, will begin their forever on June 26th, 2026.
